These terms govern your use of Propverse Sign. By creating a workspace, signing in, or signing a document through the service, you agree to them. If you use Propverse Sign on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf.

1. The service

Propverse Sign lets workspaces upload documents, place fields, send them to parties for electronic signature, and keep the sealed result with an audit trail. Features may change as the service develops.

2. Accounts and workspaces

  • Keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • Workspace administrators are responsible for who they invite and what permissions they grant.
  • New workspaces may be subject to review before they are activated.

3. Acceptable use

  • Only send documents you are entitled to send, to people you are entitled to contact.
  • Do not use the service to deceive signers, impersonate others or obtain signatures fraudulently.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with the service, access other workspaces, or bypass security controls.

4. Electronic signatures

Electronic signatures are generally recognised in South Africa under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Some documents, however, must be signed in a particular form by law.

You are responsible for deciding whether an electronic signature is appropriate for each document you send.

5. Your documents

Documents and their contents remain yours (or your workspace's). You allow us to store, process and transmit them only as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for the lawfulness of what you upload.

6. Storage and limits

Each workspace has a storage allowance. Uploads that would exceed it are refused until space is freed or the allowance is raised. We may also apply reasonable limits on volume to protect the service for everyone.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend a workspace that breaches these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first. Parties to documents already sent can still complete signing while a workspace is suspended.

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by your documents, your instructions, or a party's conduct.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; continued use after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
